Specialty Camp: Coding and Game Design Camp

Over the course of a week, campers will dive into the dynamic worlds of Scratch, Roblox, and Minecraft. Through activities based on computational skills, interactive lessons, and collaborative projects, campers will learn the fundamentals of coding, game design principles, and unleash their imagination to create their own digital masterpieces.

Our mentors are students from technical and creative backgrounds that enjoy empowering children and are outstanding roles models for the kids all summer long.

Minecraft Automatic Light system: Kids will learn the fundamentals of the Redstone in Minecraft and create an automatic light system.

Animation in Scratch: Kids will use sprites, backdrops, and combine coding blocks. They will create an animation story with multiple sprites, story lines, and animation techniques.

Targeted landing in Roblox: Kids will learn the game development platform Roblox Studio and create a landing game, which will consist of falling from a high height and avoiding obstacles to land in the middle of a giant dartboard.
